I did it! I finally started making nursing covers. I feel like I've been talking about doing it forever, so it's nice to have actually accomplished the task! I bought the cutest fabrics at a store in Springville that I wish I had discovered before we moved away, but oh well. So here it is ladies and gentlemen...my first finished nursing cover. I love it! The colorful dots make me happy, and the fact that I made it makes me even happier!
I'm going to be selling them online soon, I'm just trying to get my site set up still. So I'll let you know when that's up and running. Be excited...I know I am! I'm just happy to finally have the time to do things like this now. Yea for babies who sleep!!!

This is aiden, after a bath, showing off how badly he needs a haircut! I thought it was too funny not to capture on camera. This kinda reminds me of an old baby picture of his some of you might remember.

This is just a cute picture so I had to post it. She's wearing the ultra soft hoodie my mom bought her from H&M (one of my favorite places for kid clothes). What a cute little bear!
Thanks mom!
Thanks mom!
Kart's Grandma Barnett passed away Feb. 14th. We were all so sad to hear the news. She was in the hospital because she had passed out at home and fell, breaking 3 bones and tearing some things internally. She was in the hospital when she died, but had just moved out of ICU because she was doing better. So it was kind of a surprise. She was an amazing and extremely sweet woman and will be greatly missed. Because of her passing Kart's brother Kameron flew in to be here. We wish it wasn't under those circumstances, but we were happy that he was able to come home to visit. Aiden LOVES "Mahn" as he calls him. He's second best next to daddy! If Kam was around Aiden was usually with him. It was fun watching them together.
Aiden especially loves being out in the addition where the fireplace is, playing with wood (one of his favorite new words to say). He'll pick up a small piece of wood, drop it and watch all the sawdust fly up. I think he'd do that for hours if I let him! Here's aiden hangin' with the boys.
(sorry about the bad filming)
I love this picture of Kam and Emma! They got some bonding time too.-------------------------------------------------
These are pictures from Emma's photo shoot I took yesterday. I'm working on making baby announcements/blessing invites and wanted to make sure I had some good pictures of her for it.
I know I know- SO LATE! But better late than never I suppose. I don't know how anyone finds the time, or the energy, to do announcements when their baby is brand new.
I got some really awesome shots of her. (these are just a few) In case you're wondering, the reason some are in black&white is because I was playing with my camera's black&white setting.

This is my favorite picture! She's such a happy girl. Now you can finally see what I get to enjoy every day. She smiles a lot for us now and is starting to coo a lot too. It's so sweet! It's hard to catch such big smiles on camera though, so I feel lucky to have captured this shot.--------------------------------------------------------------
Our little escapee.
So the day has finally come...Aiden figured out last sunday how to get out of his crib. He can only do it when the bar's down. We don't know how he got it down because we were sure it was up when Kart left him for his nap. Maybe it didn't lock in place. I don't know, but it's happened twice now! Here's him showing us how he did it....

Our little ninja!
This is just a funny video of Aiden being a little ninja in his chinese outfit. Kart taught him how to do a karate chop and say hi-ya! So, not knowing he was dressed this way, Aiden comes running into the kitchen, where I was, and goes "hi-ya!" while swinging his arm in sort of a choping motion. It was so funny! So this is us trying to get him to do it again to show all of you.
Enjoy!
