What we did today...

Aiden loves to wear hats. If he finds one he'll put it on...whether it fits or not!

This is Emma's hat.
He managed to make it fit his head!

My friend, and old neighbor from Springville, Katie told me about this new place in Springville called Jumpin' Jacks. (just a side note- she's the one that introduced me to hypnobirthing) It's this fun place that mom's can take their kids for $20 a month that's full of inflatable stuff they can jump and play on. (like big slides and moon bounces) So we met there this morning with our kids and had some fun! I was just so excited to find a place to go have fun in the winter.

This is Aiden telling Katie that his mommy's standing right there. He's saying "mommymommy". We're in the "kids 5 and under" moon bounce. That was nice until later when it got a little busier and some of the older kids (maybe 4 or 5 years old) came in and were running laps in there and plowed right over aiden! I was ticked and of course aiden was crying. I think he got hit in the face. At least one of them apologized (because his mom made him). Not that aiden noticed...but I still appreciated it.

I guess it's supose to look like an outdoor scene. A psychedelic one!

Mushrooms, pine trees, a rainbow, flowers, a gigantic snail, palm trees, a slide and clown punching bags.

He liked riding on the snail. He probably would've enjoyed jumping but he doesn't know how to yet. We've tried teaching him but he'll just squat and then stand up. He doesn't get the push off with your toes part yet!

Of course he was immediately drawn to the school bus that he could steer. He loves to drive!

Aiden loves to help me in the kitchen; especially if it involves appliances that make noise! Today he helped me puree spinach and then carrots to use in future recipes. He loved pushing the pulse button!
I got Jessica Sienfield's cookbook "Deceptively Delicious" for Christmas. All the recipes use vegetable purees to sneak veggies into your kids' meals. The recipes sound really good. We've only tried one recipe so far, cinnamon pumkin oatmeal, and it's pretty tasty. So I have high hopes the rest of the recipes will be too.

This is Aiden and I at dinner time tonight talking while we wait for our pasta to be done.
