I feel like I'm always playing catch up when I post. I really need to start blogging on a daily basis! So here's what's been happening in our lives lately...
Well conference weekend was wonderful- as usual! I love conference and was especially looking forward to this one because we got to take part in the solemn assembly. (even if it was from the comfort of our living room) Wow- talk about a neat experience! I don't remember the last one because I was sort of young, so I didn't know what to expect. I really liked getting to stand up with all the Relief Society sisters all over the world and sustain our new prophet. For me it was a moving experience. The spirit was so strong! I know President Monson is called of God to be our prophet. He's going to do a wonderful job!

Aiden's favorite part about conference was the musical numbers. One of his new things is conducting when ever he hears singing! It's so cute- I love that he does that. (I think he learned it from Leo on Little Einsteins because he conducts on every episode.) I will encourage any musical interest with all I've got! I hope he continues to love music. Here's him conducting the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Move over Mack Wilberg- you've got some competition!
Haha- I love the little spin he take in the middle! He really gets into it. :)
Well...he finally did it. Kart finished making our coffee table!!! Isn't it gorgeous!? I love having a woodworking husband. We collaborated on the design and he built it. He did an amazing job. I'm pretty sure it'll last a lifetime!

He built the top to be big enough to put together any of our puzzles on. I love the darker inlay border he did.

He even made a built in drawer to store our games and puzzles in, or what ever else we decide should go there. We are going to try not to let aiden know that drawer exsists! Otherwise I'll constantly be telling him to stop opening it!
He also made me "floating shelves" a couple Christmases ago and we finally got them put up! Here's what they look like.
I love them! I'm so lucky. Here's a few fun pictures and videos of Aiden and Emma.
This one is Aiden doing one of his favorite kid games ring around the rosies. (a seriously disturbing song if you know what you're singing!) He calls it "ashes ashes". I think it's cute how he'll do it by himself and hold his own hands! He also likes to do it with me and emma. He always wants to hold emma's hand if we do it together.
Yeah, for some reason he usually skips the falling down part.
This is emma talking a little.
Emma found her toes this week!
I love this picture! What a little man!I figured out that our hand towels fit perfectly around his little hips. :)
I love how he has his thumb is hooked on the towel so casually.
And finally... this is my favorite picture of this post.
Last week he finally got strong enough to open the fridge door by himself. He knows he's not suppose to open it and I just think this picture is so funny! It looks like he got caught red handed!
I think he's actually just asking me where something is in the fridge. He's either looking for the hot sauce (Kart's doing- once he had aiden stick out his tongue and he poured a drop of jalapeƱo Tabasco sauce on it...and he LIKED it! What can I say...he's his father's son.) or an apple. Now I've just got one more thing to keep him out of! The list never ends!!! I'm thinking about just putting up a gate to the kitchen.
