Aiden is sick AGAIN! When will it end?! Poor guy can't catch a break. (just every virus going around!) This time it's not his belly, it's his throat. He woke up last night crying for me and I could tell he was in pain, but we didn't know what was hurting. So finally I decided this afternoon to have him see the pediatrician. Turns out he has a low grade fever (101.4) and a "really bad sore throat". It's not strep though, thank goodness. Although if I recall, when I was growing up the sore throats that weren't strep always felt worse than when I actually had strep. Poor Aiden! So we bought him a bunch of Popsicles and he had another nap and some Tylenol. He seemed happier right before bed time so I hope that means he's feeling better.
Switching topics completely... Aiden and Emma are successfully sleeping in the same room!!!!!!! Thank goodness! I was so nervous but it was surprising easy. She did wake up in the night to eat and it didn't even wake up Aiden. I'm so glad, but surprised. I couldn't be happier about having our room back to ourselves at night. No more tiptoeing around at night in our room with the lights off trying not to wake up Emma! Yesss. Now I really need to finish decorating their room and make it work for the 2 of them. Time to get the creative juices flowin'!
