My Mothers Day

Thanks to all those who wished me a Happy Mothers Day. And to all of you mothers who read this blog, I wish you a Happy Mothers Day too! I hope your day was wonderful. Mine was great for the most part, but was shared with taking care of our very sick 2 year old! I felt so bad for him. He was in a lot of pain today. Kart and his Dad and his brother Kelby gave him a blessing, which I'm so grateful for. I love having the Priesthood in our home! I told you in an earlier post how it all started. Well today he wasn't any better. He woke up feverish so he came into bed with us until Emma woke us all up. Then Kart took the kids and made me breakfast in bed! What a sweetie. :) (upon my request- toaster strudel, Jimmy Dean Breakfast sandwich, strawberries, yogurt and OJ. D-licious!) Then after breakfast Aiden seemed to be getting worse so we force him to take some Tylenol (it was hard to get him to take it!) and by the time we went to Kart's parent's house (to talk to Kart's brother on a mission who was calling today) Aiden was acting like his old self again and wasn't so hot. So we were hoping things would stay good. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. I had to leave to teach our primary class an hour after we got there and Kart came to stay with emma at home who needed a nap badly. So Aiden stayed at the Barnetts. By the time we got back he was in bad shape again! In fact he added puking to the list! Which didn't help because then he refused to drink anything because his stomach hurt. I let him refuse for a little while, but when we got home I finally had to resort to forcing Pedialyte down his throat with a syringe! Not to pleasant for anyone involved. Finally after forcing him to drink small amounts of Pedialyte every 10 mins for an hour we could give him more Tylenol (according to the nurse I called today) and now he's asleep in our bed and doesn't feel hot!!!! Yea! I hope he just gets better from here. That Tylenol sure does wonders. So do blessings! So anyway. That's was our crazy day! Please pray for our little guy. He can use all the blessing he can get. I hope to give a positive update soon!
