I LOVE him! It made me so happy to hear him say that. I doubt he really understands yet what that means, but the fact that he's starting to understand that it's special and important makes me so happy. :)

I don't know what's happened, if it's what we're doing as parents, or just that he's almost 3 and out of the "terrible twos", but he's really been such a joy to be around lately. He's been more kind and helpful, he's more willing to clean up his toys, he's been letting me hold his hand a lot (usually if I try to hold his hand he says "No, I hold my own hand." and he'll hold his hands together like he's going to pray), and he's doing amazing with potty training (dry ALL 3 hours of church and dry through his nap!! NO ACCIDENTS at all today!). Then to top it off he says things like "I love you mommy, I love you SO much!" or "I having fun mommy!" when we're playing or even cleaning - just doing things together. I think that may actually have something to do with his happy attitude. I've really been trying hard to give him my full attention more often, do more fun activities, and get out of the house a little more. (playgroup, and just general getting out) I'll try to keep it up because it seems to help! Well anyway, I thought that was too cute not to share. Happy Sunday!
