I'm on an organizing kick. Mostly it's been financial organizing. (what we need the most) We just got our taxes done and all I have to say is YEA for tax returns! As soon as we got home we wrote down our plan on how to use that money so it doesn't go to waste. I'm really excited to get our emergency fund finally in place and really get started on our "debt snowball". (we're following the Dave Ramsey plan) Tonight I started working on our budget (which usually gives me a headache). Hopefully tomorrow I can get that finished up. It's a lot of work, getting organized, but it will most definitely be worth it. Some day we'll be yelling "We're debt freeeee!" and then we'll buy a house! That will be a happy day. :) Maybe after I get that all organized and on track I can pick up a paintbrush again. I should have taken a picture of the painting I did for Natalie. I really liked how it turned out. Oh well! I'm just grateful I finally finished it.
I recently returned from my trip to Virginia/DC to see my sister Natalie, and the rest of my family, for 5 days. It was a great trip! I miss them all already. If you want to read the details go to http://www.nataliesrecovery.com/Natlies_Recovery/Blog/Entries/2009/2/9_Laura%E2%80%99s_Visit.html.
