I'm going to try something new, and start a weekly post every friday called "Friday Finds" on one of my favorite online finds from the week. Sounds fun right? I'm excited about it. This is my way of sharing some of the MANY great blogs and websites I stumble on daily with you!
Todays find comes from the purl bee. I LOVE this crafting blog. It's full of tutorials on all sorts of craft and needlework projects. Very inspiring! If you're ever looking for a project I highly recommend scrolling the list of tutorials available on their site.
Well the project that got me excited today is their tutorial on making little boy ties! It's supose to rain this weekend so it'll be a great way to pass the time inside. (Not that I don't have enough painting to do- but I need a break every now and then.) I think Aiden will love being able have his dad tie his tie on instead of the zipper tie he has (that just broke last week- so this is good timing)
Don't have a little guy, don't worry, they have adult size patterns too!
It'd make a great Father's Day gift! (Don't forget- June 21st)
The best part is that you don't even need a sewing machine to make it.
If you make one please send me a picture. I'd love to see how it turned out! (I'll post mine too)
