A is for Aliens

With good intentions I was going to do a "letter a day" with the kids. Well...we did A, but never got around to doing the rest of the alphabet. I'll try again some day, but until then here's the pictures of part of our "A day". We talked about the sounds A makes, checked out books on Alligators, Aliens, Ants and Apples, watched "A Bugs Life" (about ants), and we did a craft project with aliens. I cut out pictures of aliens I printed off of the computer and taught him how to glue them to the paper with a q-tip and some elmers glue. It was his first time using glue and he was a pro! I was so proud of him! He had fun and I had fun having an A themed day.
