Berry Picking

Last weekend the kids and I took a trip to a berry picking farm in Payson.  I've lived in Utah for 7 years now (has it really been THAT long!?) and my east coast brain still occasionally struggles with the east, west, north, south way of giving directions around here.  What I'm trying to say is we got lost, several times, before we finally found it!  But we made it and had a lot more fun than I expected.

When we pulled up the kids were excited and ready to go...

We discovered

Aiden was a great helper.  He was happy to hold the jug and was great at picking berries.
A lot better than I expected at his age.  He was always showing me berries and asking

Emma tried to help too...

Here she is

But most of the time when I'd turn around
(so we paid a little extra to cover all her snacking!)

After a lot of picking we had a whole container of

Off to pay for our yummy treat.  We'll definitely be coming
back with Daddy before the season's over.  That was fun!

  1. That looks so fun! I miss going to pick apples in Virginia... Aiden and Emma are going to love seeing these pictures when they're older. They're so lucky to have such cute, creative, yet simple records of this stuff. Your little story lines of things they do are sooo adorable! I want to be like you someday!
