My Sabbath Day

Do you ever have a perfect day?

Today was one of those days for me.

It was just a good day. The kind of Sunday I'd like us to always have.

I was able to get myself up as soon as the kids were awake and get them fed before Kart woke up. (he needed the extra sleep and is always letting ME sleep in,

so I was happy to be able to return the favor)

I finally found my favorite sunday CD and enjoyed filling our home with it's beautiful music while I got the kids dressed for church...early, while Kart got dressed.

Then I was able to get ready for church with out being rushed while Kart read to the kids from our Book of Mormon reader for children.

We were actually ready to go way before we needed to!

I just can't tell you how peaceful the whole morning was.

I loved it.

We made it to church on time.

Aiden sang his own version of the song every time a song was sung in sacrament meeting, (very cute!) and emma just tried to stay awake. (This new 11am church time is hard on her)

We enjoyed the meetings and I didn't even have trouble staying awake. :)

When we got home I got them fed, and in bed in a reasonable amount of time.

Then while my sweet husband did his church calling duties I got to enjoy a quiet and clean house relaxing with a book.

Now we're off to the in-laws for dinner.

Perfect day.

I'm so grateful for days like these.
