Sunday was a special day for Owen because my husband gave him a baby blessing (This is a Priesthood ordinance in our religion that is traditionally done soon after a baby is born. The father gives the infant a name and a blessing in front of the congregation). As guided by the spirit, he gave him a beautiful blessing. Several family members were able to join us for the blessing and afterward we all met at my in-laws' house for lunch. It was a gorgeous day; perfect weather for eating outside. The whole day was just perfect. I'm grateful that Owen is a part of our family and for everyone that was able to come celebrate with us.
