homemade ice cream

Ice cream. I swear it's my addiction to it that is making Owen so chubby!

I've been wanting to try making it at home for a long time. Well today I finally did it. I made it with the kids for "baking friday". Okay so no baking was involved, but it was a dessert, which is kind of what our baking friday is all about. The recipe I used was very time consuming but ooooohhh so worth it! It's delicious! I just wish it had made more. I started the process at 10am and didn't finish until 4:30! If you're patient enough I would highly recommend trying it yourself. I found the recipe on the food network's website. It's an Alton Brown recipe. You can't go wrong with him. You can find it here.
