goodbye july

Wow! What a busy month it's been. My family was in town the last 2 weeks and it was so much fun to have them here. We got to go to the zoo, eat out (a lot!), go camping, fishing, see movies, have girl time, make crafts, and just talk and hang out. I love it when they're here, but it can be exhausting too. It's hard to get to bed early when all you wanna do is talk. Plus we were out a lot doing fun things. So although I miss them tons, it's nice to get back to a normal routine again and get to bed a little earlier; especially since I have to wake up at 5:30 to bake at Cupcake Chic. (that job has been awesome by the way- I can't believe I get paid to do it.)

Now that August is here we're getting ready for Kart to start school again, I'm continuing to work on my Etsy business (grand opening coming soon I hope, but until then check out what's in the shop so far), and the biggest news of all...we're going to move to a bigger apartment Sept. 1st! We're just moving a couple of blocks away, but it'll be a good change. It's not as cute as our current place, but it has 3 bedrooms and lots of storage, it's still in our ward, and is next door to some good friends of ours. We're really looking forward to it! I'll put some pictures up when we're settled.
