...but tonight, not so much. I'm so upset with Aiden for doing this to her, and upset with myself that I left scissors within reach. Her HAIR! Her hair that she's been growing out since she was BORN! She had finally grown it long enough for a pony tail or pig tails, which was great because then we could hide her mullet. Ok, so I had thought about cutting the bottom to even out her layers, but definitely not the top that was short to begin with! Whyyyy!? She's going to have to start from scratch now. I sure hope it grows out faster than it did the first time! I'm going to have to get it fixed tomorrow. I hope they can make it look some what decent. Oh I should mention he cut his own too...but that doesn't matter so much. I can always shave his head if I have to. But her hair...so sad!

Making this brightened my mood.
I love having a fireplace! I've always wanted one and this year my wish came true.
It makes our home feel so cozy. This will make winter more bearable.
So sad! That's definitely not something I have to worry about yet . . . I'm so jealous of your fireplace!
ReplyDeleteOh so sad! My two year old daughter fell off a trike this summer and knocked a front tooth out, so her smile is a little different for the next 3-4 years. So I sort of know how you feel. :( I hope your beautiful little girl's hair grows faster than my little ones new tooth! And I am sure the stylist will be able to do something to make it look fabulous in the meantime! :) My boy is named Aidan too, so now I am picturing him doing this to one of his younger sisters. Going to hide all scissors now.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I hope that never ever happens to me. That is so sad. But if you look at where he cut it, it looks like it could be cute, flip it out a little. I actually think it could be really cute. And you will probably be pleasantly surprised how much better it looks taking away all the wispy baby hair. I remember being so sad to cut Miley's hair the first time, but oh man it looked SO much better. And it makes it grow faster too.
