It was the last straw for me with this '93 Mercury Villager minivan of ours. It would cost $200 to fix the window and I'm tired of putting money into it. It's been a huge blessing to not have a car payment for the last 2 1/2 years though. I'm grateful for all it's helped us do. I just can't put any more money into it. We were going to buy a new van with our next tax return anyway, so we just decided to make the purchase early and pay it off at tax time. So the car hunt began. We looked at Mazdas, Toyotas, Kias, and Hondas. I liked certain things about each but the one that seemed to have it all (space, comfort, reliability, safety and style) was the Toyota.
We're getting a "Swagger Wagon"!
You've probably seen it by now, but you gotta love this commercial for the Toyota Sienna...
We've narrowed our search down to two; a 2004 and a 2005. Both have different pros and cons. I'm hoping tomorrow we can make our final decision and bring home our new van and sell our current one; just before the snow hits! It will be so nice to have more room, and actually enjoy driving again. We're actually going to have AIR CONDITIONING next summer! So many blessings will come from owning a new(er) minivan. I can't wait. We're trying our best to really do our research and take things slow so we make the right decision, because it's an expensive one. Here's hoping tomorrow will be the day we bring a new van home though!
Woo hoo! Exciting!
