Tonight Kart and I ended up taking an impromptu date to Chilis, because there wasn't much to eat in the fridge and we had a gift card to use. (Don't worry, I found some pasta to feed the kids, but it wasn't enough for all of us.) So after the kids got to bed we had the neighbors watch the them and we enjoyed a night out, followed by a Netflix movie at home and some heart shaped rice crispy treats I'd made today. It was a great night!
Today I finally started working on a Valentines day banner made of felt hearts. I got several hearts cut out this afternoon, but I need to cut some more and then sew them together. I can't wait to show you the finished product!
I've been neglecting my Etsy shop and any crafting endeavors lately because time is always an issue. But this weekend I was reminded that I indeed have a shop to fill, because I sold one of my drawstring bags! Not just any bag- my favorite one. It's a cute happy rain cloud and I love it. I'm glad some one else loves it too though. Having it leave the shop just makes me realize I need to get busy creating more. I miss sewing and crafting. I must make more time to do it! Tomorrow I'll try to finish my banner. Pictures to come!
