Vday

So I never did get around to attempting the heart centered cake, (one day I will) but I did make these lovely peanut butter blossom cookies. (inspired by this post) Don't they look yummy and festive? I assure you they were. I also made 2 heart shaped pizzas for dinner; also delicious- and festive.

Kart and I went out this weekend for dinner and he bought me an orchid (my favorite flower) so we kind of already celebrated. Being the good husband that he is though he bought the kids each a Valentines Day balloon and bought me something, actually US something- a Blendtec! Now not all girls would get excited about an appliance, but I do! At least this particular one. It's an amazing blender! You can even grind wheat, and make peanut butter with it (among a million and one other things)! We're excited to finally own one. Now we can start making green smoothies in the morning to help us do a better job of getting all the nutrients in that our bodies need. He also bought stuff to make me dinner, but I'd already made pizza by the time he got home. Oh well- another night.
