The Hogle Zoo has a free admission day once a month in the cold months.
It's expensive normally so my neighbor and I decided to take advantage of the opportunity to go for free and piled all our kids in my van and made the trek up to Salt Lake.
Luckily it wasn't too cold that day and we were able to see a lot of animals.
