Sorry, no pictures of the kids in cute Easter outfits, just an egg hunt.
(mostly because I didn't think to take one, probably because they weren't wearing anything new) They had a great time hunting for eggs with our neighbor's kids though!
After the egg hunt we spent the rest of the day at church and with my sister Natalie and Kart's family at their house. I had a small solo in the church choir during one of our 3 songs (As I Have Loved You). It was scary, but it went pretty well. I just thought it'd be a good personal challenge for me. Our director always asks for volunteers for solos, and no one else was begging to do it, so I figured now would be a good time. And I liked that it was a song I knew very well! I just sang the first verse of the song, then the choir comes in. It wasn't just the primary version. It has some additions to it. Very pretty song. All our pieces were beautiful. Our director picks great music. It was a very uplifting & happy day. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday too.
I did the same thing--took pictures of the Easter egg hunt but not their church outfits. I think I'll dress the kids up in their outfits again, take pictures, and pretend we took them on Easter. Way to go on the solo!
