Tonight we went to our ward Christmas party. It was really well attended! For dinner we had roast beef, green beans, rolls, salad and baked potatoes. I was in charge of helping to serve the green beans. I felt like a lunch lady! Luckily it wasn't too long before I got to join my family and enjoy the program while we ate. Part of the program was the primary children singing christmas songs dressed up like people and animals from the nativity. I used Kart's white t-shirts and made my children angels. Easiest thing I could come up with, and it worked great! My favorite was their friend Jake's horse costume.
The kids were so cute up there. Emma was pointing to every word on the paper as they sang. It was really funny- mostly because she doesn't read yet!
It was a great night. I loved getting to be with Kart and the kids and visiting with all our friends. I'm so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful ward family!
