A tragic day

I've kind of been avoiding the news (after watching the news this morning and hearing what happened in CT), because I knew it'd be hard to watch. But wanting to know more details of what happened, I watched Nightline's coverage on the shooting; and cried my eyes out. It's so awful and heartbreaking what these kids have been put through. I'm grateful to know these children are with a loving Heavenly Father and I pray their families will find peace. I am so grateful my own children are safe and sound sleeping in their beds. I hope that this kind of tragedy never happens to my family, but I realize it could. Shootings and acts of terrorism are becoming far too frequent. It is hard but I try to replace that fear with faith. I know our Heavenly Father is with us even when terrible things happen. He's there to comfort us and help us carry on. We cant allow fear to stop us from living our life. I send my love, thoughts and prayers to all the victims of this tragedy and pray that they will feel the love and prayers coming their way.
