Easter

Happy Easter!

I tried hard to do less candy items in their baskets this year, and I think they were pretty happy with what they got.  They all especially loved their new bowls they got that went with the sugar cereal (which I never buy, so it's a big treat for them).

My favorite basket item was the Ferrero Eggs we got.  So good! I also got us a game called Bananagrams, (that banana looking thing in the basket to the left) which is like speed scrabble.  It's fun.  Hopefully the kids will like it too.  I though it might help them practice spelling, in a more fun way.

We were lucky enough to have Beth with us that weekend.  It's always fun when Aunt Bethie comes! She did Emma's hair for her for church and they looked so cute all matchy-matchy.

I should have let her do my hair - that bun is outta control! Haha!

The kids, and kart and I had fun dying eggs earlier that week.  That's always one of my favorite easter traditions.  Especially because it's followed by one of my other favorite traditions- making and eating deviled eggs! Yum.
