Blessing Day

Well...we finally did it! After 3 months Emma is officially blessed. It was such a great day! The only thing that managed to go wrong was that Kart's family didn't hear it was daylight savings time and were late by an hour! Oops. Luckily we still had grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins there. It was such a beautiful blessing. I thought Kart did a great job. Especially considering that she cried the whole time! He remained incredibly focused!

We all got together at Kart's aunt Janet's house afterwards for lunch and had a great time visiting with everyone who came. The food was great and we felt so blessed with all the family that helped out and brought food to share, and especially grateful to Janet for opening her home to us. When we got home that afternoon we realized we forgot to take pictures! So we drove over to a scenic spot (the riverwoods outdoor mall in provo) and set up the tri-pod to get at least a couple pictures to remember that special day by. I thought they turned out pretty good. Aiden was pretty tired (we woke him up to take the picture)...can you tell?!
