Thanksgiving Point

So for Aiden's birthday my mom bought us a season pass to all the attractions at Thanksgiving Point...and I'm so excited to use it! So far we've gone to Farm Country and the Dinosaur Museum. We still need to check out the gardens. There's a huge Noah's Ark that sprays water and you can run around in the water. So when it gets really hot we're going to play at the gardens. First we have to get swimsuits though! Emma's never owned one, Aiden grew out of his and my body is a different size yet again this year! So swimsuits for everyone! (except kart of course...lucky!) At least it's a pregnant free summer. :)

So here's us at Thanksgiving Point!

Farm Country

As soon as we had a warm day we went to Farm Country with my friend Megan and her daughter Miley. To my surprise, Aiden was freaked out by any animal bigger than him (horses, cows, donkey, lamas...), so I figured that he wouldn't want to do the pony ride. So instead we did the wagon ride- a safe distance from the huge horses! He enjoyed it so much we did it twice.

Emma on the wagon ride...unimpressed! :)
Something stinky?

You can't tell from this picture but he really enjoyed the ride!

Megan and Miley- What cuties!

Aiden trying to throw food at the ducks on the other side of the fence. He REALLY wanted to go in there and get up close. He loves any kind of bird right now. He loves to chase them!

Farmer Aiden!

After Farm Country we went to Reams to pick up some things for dinner, and Emma sat in the cart seat for the first time!!! So cute! I strapped her in but she's actually getting pretty good at sitting up by herself. She looks like she's not quite sure about Miley!

As always...Aiden LOVES to drive!

The Dinosaur Museum

On Aiden's birthday we went to the dinosaur museum. I think he really liked it.
I really liked that they had this fun toddler exhibt with dinosaur books, puppets, plastic toy dinosaurs, and this cool puzzle.

I didn't realize there were prehistoric sharks...but this is a cool exhibit!

This is the hands-on erosion exhibit. It was awesome. They have smocks for the little kids and the floor is higher in center so thats why all the little kids are in the middle. They get to play with the water and sand. Fun fun fun!

Then the other cool hands-on exhibit was a fossil pit where you can brush the sand off the fossils. That was hard to get him out of!

Video of the toddler exhibit.

Thanks for the fun times mom, and many more fun times to come!!!
