Oh my sickness!

At 3:30 in the morning last night I woke up to Aiden crying. I thought maybe he fell out of his toddler bed (we're on day two of the crib-to-bed transition!!), but when I got in there I smelled puke! So I got him in the bathroom as quick as I could but I learned quickly he does not like to puke in toliets or buckets. He freaked out if we got either near his face. So instead he puked on Kart, in his bed again, in our bed and in several towels! Poor guy. This is the first time he's really been sick and pukey. I don't think any of us (including emma who of course woke up in the commotion of it all) got back to sleep until 6am. Kart ended upsleeping with Aiden on a cot in his room and I slept on our stripped down bed next to emma so I could feed her when she woke up again. Man...it was a long night that will be followed with a long day of laundry! He did wake up and was able to keep down water and Kix. Yea! Let's hope that he just keeps getting better.
