Well I've taken long enough to get to this post...so here it is. Aiden turned 2 on April 23rd! We had fun celebrating with Kart's family.
Earlier that week I finally finished our picture wall! YEA!!! I started it forever ago and got stuck and gave up on it for weeks. But Maceys (the grocery store- for those of you on the east coast) was having a really big sale on enlargements so I got a bunch of new pictures enlarged for the wall and finally put the rest of it up with Kart's help. I like it! I think it turned out good. I was happy to have it done before people came over.

They gave him a new pair of crocks since he's recently grown into a size 7 shoe. They also gave him some great Little Einstein toys and new clothes. He loved the toys since Little Einsteins is his favorite.

Kart and I gave him a tricycle. This is him seeing it for the first time. It folds in half for storage purposes which I like. That's why the seat looks so high in this picture.

Testing it out with daddy! (I love the look of pure joy on his face!) He still doesn't get the pedaling thing, but I'll keep trying to teach him how it works and hopefully it'll click one of these days.

The cake I worked so hard on. The picture, of course, doesn't do it justice. I did a lot of experimenting on this one. The picture frame is made out of marshmallow fondant and got too dry so it broke into a bunch of pieces. But oh well! The cake tasted great- so I was happy! I made the center filling out of a can of frosting mixed with a tub of cool whip and it makes a moouse-like consistency. It was pretty tasty.

Leo (with real balloons!)

Emma taking her turn on the bike! She actually held on and held herself up all by herself. I was impressed. I think she looks so funny in this picture. :)
Enjoying a balloon. She loves to hold things now.

2 days later the Baird family presents came in the mail. He was excited to have more to open! He got a Mr. Potato Head from Uncle Ryan, a fish puzzle, clothes and a Little Einstein book from Grandma, Grandpa and Natalie and Kara gave him a stuffed dog he named "Doggie".
