Catching up again.

I have to apologize that it's been a while since I've written. I've just been so busy with my family here visiting for a week. If Natalie can find time to post to my blog though I guess I have no excuses! So lets do some catching up!We had a lot of fun and very little sleep last week. I'm sad my family is gone already. It wasn't everybody, just my parents and Natalie and Beth. It was great having them here. We kept pretty busy. The first full day they were here I took them to the Springville Art Museum. They always have great artwork on display- I love that place! Here's some pictures of our museum trip.

Then that night we went bowling at Fat Cats in Provo. I'd never been before because it's the most expensive place around here to bowl, but I really liked it! Very fun. We tried to go to BYU's bowling alley but it was closed so Fat Cats was the next best thing (the other alley in Orem is kind of trashy).

Natalie out bowled us all!
My dad didn't want to bowl, so he and Aiden went over to the arcade area to go drive the race car games!
I didn't do too bad. My parents taught me the trick to holding the ball the right way and after that it was much higher scores (even a strike!).

The next day we went to Farm Country in Thanksgiving Point.

YeeeeHAAW!
Natalie wanted to buy a chick to take home as a pet. Mom said no way!
Before you get outside to the larger animals there's interactive stuff the kids can play with. Aiden & GrandmaNatalie dancin' it up in Miss Amy's Dance Hall.2 of my gorgeous sisters: Natalie and Beth! :)
Beth and Natalie fed the donkey.
The llamas and sheep must have gotten sheered just recently because they were all so skinny! I think this llama looks so funny with it's skinny little neck.
Check out those buck teeth!

There were some really cute goats there.
The Beautiful Belgian Horses.Trying to keep the sun off. It was a pretty hot week.
Emma must have Baird eyes. She has my eye color and apparently Beth's too! What pretty girls. :)
Like I said...it was a hot day.
We got a carriage ride around the farm! My cousin Ingrid was there too but she's taking the picture. The curse of being the photographer- never being in the shot.

After the Farm we all went to Chilis - a new favorite of mine. I love their mini burgers with the jalapeno ranch dipping sauce! Yum! Emma liked the saltine crackers the waiter was so kind to offer- it saved us from fussiness!
The next day we saw Kung Fu Panda. I highly recommend it! It was hilarious and had great life lessons in it. Aiden even seemed to like it. This was the first movie we've taken him to that he was actually interested in and sat most of the way through. After the movie he ran up to the big cardboard cut out of the Panda from the movie and just stared at him with his hands on his hips. But before anyone could get a camera out he noticed off to his right were the race car arcade games! So he and Natalie did some driving.
My dad tried to get him to recreate the moment but he just cried because he didn't want to stop driving the cars! Poor guy! That kid loves cars.

When we got home, Grandma and Aiden played with playdough and made glasses. haha! I love it. We did lots more, but that's all the pictures (and time) I have. I'm so glad they came to visit. We always love the chance to spend time together since it's months between visits. I was so happy that Aiden and Emma both bonded with my family a lot durring this trip since the last time they saw them (our VA trip in March) the kids seemed kind of scared of them! It must have helped to be on their turf this time. I already can't wait for our next visit!
