Even more catching up!

A couple weeks ago Orem "Summerfest" was going on, so I took the kids to go explore it. There were carnival rides, food vendors, performances (dancers and bands), and booths with people selling stuff. It was pretty fun. We had a tasty sandwich from Ernies Sports Grill, watched the dancers, checked out all the stands and let aiden do a couple rides. It was pretty hot though, so we tried not to stay too long.

The rides were only 75 cents so I let aiden ride a couple. Both of them happen to be motorcycle rides. He loved it of course.
Emma and I waiting for Aiden to finish his ride.
This motorcycle ride was a little faster and the track had ups and downs.

That weekend we all went swimming at Veterns Pool in Provo. It's my favorite around here because it's really cheap and fun for kids. Emma didn't love it as much as Aiden. I think she was just cold and and annoyed that water kept spraying on her head! Poor girl. So I didn't stay in the water too long with her.
Aiden loved it though!
He especially loved splashing.

There are 2 water slides there and we found out it's okay to take your kids down them if they're in your lap! So we took turns taking Aiden down.

This is Aiden after going down the slide with Kart. Apparently they went really fast. So fast that he almost lost his grip on Aiden when they took a drop in the slide and went airborne! (as if I don't worry enough!) Needless to say, Aiden didn't enjoy the ride! He was pretty freaked out. Some how I was able to convince him to try it again with me, and we went much slower. I think he was worried at first but seemed to enjoy it by the end. We'll have to try again next time we go.
Emma happy that she doesn't have to be in the pool!
We forgot that aiden came in his swimsuit, so we didn't have clothes to change him into. oops!
Aiden thought it was sooo funny to chase Kart and would laugh and laugh when Kart would get away!

Just a funny random picture I wanted to share. Aiden thought that the back of Kart's bike helmet was eye and nose holes for his face! I does fit his face perfectly. :)
