Behold Your Little Ones

I was on the Church's website and it was announcing that they have a new nursery manual. I was curious to see what had changed so I looked at a few of the lesson plans and I love it! I taught nursery with Kart for about a year and a half when we were first married so I remember the old one well. The old manual is okay, but I always felt the lessons in the manual were a little too in depth and long for 1-2 year olds. The new manual's lessons are much simpler and concise, utilizing a lot of singing (Aiden's favorite!); basically more appropriate for children of that age group. I'm not teaching nursery anymore but I frequently use the nursery manual to get ideas for Family Home Evening. (Our lessons are really geared toward Aiden so it gives me age appropriate ideas for teaching on a variety of topics- it's perfect!) So that's why I'm so excited about the change. It'll be fun to get to try out all the new lesson ideas! I can't wait!
