Let it snow!

It snowed today! It's not the first snow of the year, but it's the first one during the holiday season. The snow makes me feel even more cosy in our newly decorated apartment. Kart and I put up the tree and the rest of our decorations on Sunday. I leave the lights off all the time now and keep the tree lights on constantly. It's so relaxing! We used the big bulb lights this year and I LOVE it! One of my favorite things to do at Christmas time is read by the tree. If I had a fire place it'd be even better.

While getting our living room ready for the tree I FINALLY unpacked the last two boxes from our move (a YEAR ago!) . I felt like the mom on the Incredibles. "We're officially moved in!" Sad, I know. I just haven't known where to put all the books and photo albums that were in those boxes. Well I made room all over the house and while I was putting stuff away I came across a photo album with a picture of me and my siblings in it that made me smile. I thought it would be perfect for this first holiday snow post. (I think I was 13 in this picture. )
