Still no major changes. My dad will be sending out another email soon that I will post here too. They say she does sometimes open her eyes a little but then her eyes just roll back and she closes them again. So she is still in a coma.
My parents are getting well taken care of. They have lots of friends and family around to help out and even Natalie's work (she was a hostess at a steak house) has sent them tons of food and has said they can have more if they want! My dad says the outpouring of kindness has been overwhelming.
Today is the viewing for Shelby Nickleson and my thoughts and prayers go out to their family. They've been so kind and gracious to my family. Considering what they're going through I'm so grateful for that. My family has been invited, and plan to, attend the viewing.
Today I found a good article on the accident with interviews, including Shelby's Grandmother (who she lives with- her parents are divorced and left her with her Grandmother to finish out high school), and has more details about the accident, what they plan to do about the road, and information on where and when the viewing and funeral are for Shelby. Just note that Shelby's Grandmother says in the article that Natalie is out of her coma and that's not true. Click here to read it.
