My trip

For those of you who didn't already know, we were in Las Vegas last week for my sister Beth's wedding to Mike Braecklein. It was a fun trip, full of wedding things with a little sight seeing on the side. It was just great being able to be with my family for a week and escape the Utah cold!

The wedding and reception turned out great, and the weather was perfect! I'm really glad Mike's officially part of the family now. He's perfect for Beth and a lot of fun to be around (they're both so funny!); a great addition to our family! I'd never been to the Las Vegas Temple before so it was fun to add another Temple to the list of the ones I've been able to visit.

My favorite picture of them.

This was sent out in their invites.

Sorry for the picture overload but this isn't even all of the ones I took!
Let's start with decorating for the reception....

We met at the chapel's cultural hall to help set up for the reception.

Beth, mom, grandma and the caterer/decorator.

They only used half the gym, so after we finished helping we had dinner in the other half.

Kart entertaining the kids! (What a good dad)

That's Mike's dad on the right next to Natalie- he was just as funny as Mike!

Mike with Beth's newly married roommate and her husband.

Bairds and the Brandvolds!
My funny sister Natalie!
(She's doing amazing by the way- I'll have to dedicate a post to her sometime)

My hillarious cousin Scott!

Helping Beth with her wedding playlist.

My brother's wife, Dara.
(Another fabulous addition to the family!)

someone who wants her mommy.

Aunt Kara teaching Aiden to do the peace sign.

The next day was the wedding. I had fun taking pictures of Beth getting her hair done. She looked gorgeous!

After the wedding her photographer and assistant photographer took family pictures of us. Then while they went off to do the couple's pictures we waited around for them and visited.

I love this picture of my mom!

I love the colors Beth picked.

Aiden keeping himself entertained!
Emma and Daddy

My beautiful sisters.

After we waited around for a while people started getting hungry so we went to In'n'out for lunch. Always delicious!

Then we met back at the Chapel for the reception. We helped with last minute touch ups and waited for it to start. The food was really good, the place looked beautiful and we all had fun dancing and visiting. I didn't take many reception pictures, but here's the few I did take. These are mostly before it started.

I made that sign.
So there you go folks. Hope you enjoyed the peek into my week! Sorry I didn't really have any pictures of the strip, but I only made it there once and didn't have my camera. (it's overrated anyway!)

I love you Mike and Beth and hope you had a fabulous honeymoon!
