not a clue

As I type, Kart is pacing the floor with Emma in his arms trying to sing her back to sleep. She's awake for the 50th time tonight and we have no idea why. A friend and I were just talking tonight about how it's so frustrating when kids are sick because they can't tell you what's wrong. You feel so helpless. Wouldn't it be great if they came with some kind of indicator that could tell you what was causing them to be so upset? We've run down the list of possible things that could be causing her to cry and so far nothing has soothed her that we've tried. She keeps waking up. It's so frustrating. Anyway...thanks for letting me vent.
