I love my husband, and my kids, so much! I feel so lucky to be a mother. I try not to take for granted the fact that I'm able to have children. Being a mother isn't easy by any means, but it has some amazing moments between all the challenging ones. Every day I learn more about being a better mother and am trying to improve all the time. I'm grateful for all the wonderful examples of great mothers in my life; especially my mother and mother-in-law who are both wonderful women and great examples of "mothers who know"!
I had a relaxing mothers day. Kart let me sleep in (bless his heart!) and made me german pancakes (sorry, no pictures) with fruit salad and strawberry orange juice. Then we spent the rest of the day at Kart's parents house and went to church with them. It was a great day. Because we didn't have any extra money to spend on a Mothers Day gift Kart made me something, and I wanted to share it. (because I LOVE it!) I love that being poor forces you to be more creative. :)
Happy Mothers Day
He printed this all out and made it into a little book. It's definitely one of my favorite gifts from him!
Oh, that was such a sweet little book - something that you will cherish your whole life. You deserve it! Glad you had a happy Mothers' Day.
