Last weekend we met my dear friend Alisha, who I've know since my teenage years back in Virginia, and her cute family in the lavender fields of Mona Utah. She had the brilliant idea to take family pictures for each other in the sea of lavender. I'm so glad she suggested it because we had fun frolicking through the lavender and getting some great shots of each other. Alisha is very talented professional photographer. You can find her work and her blog here. I'm definitely not professional, but I've taught myself a lot over the years and enjoy taking pictures. Because we both love photography we've done several shoots together, just for fun, and I love having a good friend who is so willing to share her photographic talent and knowledge with me.
