summer days

This year we invested in something we've been wanting for a long time...a bike for me and a bike trailer for the kids (Kart has a bike already). Luckily we have connections in the biking department. My friend from Virginia, Brad, has an awesome bike shop up in Riverton called Infinite Cycles, and he made sure we got quality! I got a white Diamond Back mountain bike, and Brad sold us his Burley bike trailer for the kids. Thanks for the sweet hook-ups Brad! Go visit his shop - it's awesome and every bike they sell comes with free lifetime service!

It's been so much fun to be able to bike as a family.
For Pioneer Day, July 24th, we went for a bike ride up provo canyon. They have a great biking/running trail. We biked all the way to Vivian Park (which was farther than I felt like going, but then I'm kind of a wimp and out of shape!) where there's a playground. That's where these picture were taken. Enjoy...

Then after that long bike ride we treated ourselves to our first ever trip to Five Guys!
I know, I know- those of you in Virginia are shocked. What? You've never been? It's true. (Five Guys started in VA- but some how I never went) Well we loved it!
