Kindergarten

Last week Aiden started Kindergarten! I can't believe it.  He's so grown up. He was so excited to go. He really seems to love school.  He's also been enjoying the independence that's come with going to school.  I drop him off and pick him up outside the school and he finds his way to class by himself and then finds me outside after class. He gets so excited and proud of himself when he finds me.  I have to get there so early though if I want any chance of getting close to the sidewalk in the pickup line.  There are cars lined up so far back everyday. I'm working on timing it right though. It was so cute today when I dropped him off, he saw one of the kids in his class and they looked at each other like "I know you but don't know your name" and they started talking and walked in together.  I hope he makes lots of friends this year.  I'm looking forward to seeing him in his class when I get to volunteer. Mostly because he doesn't tell me too much about his day when I ask him.  It'll be fun to see what they do every day.  I miss my Aiden, but it sure has been fun for me to have 3 whole hours to myself every afternoon. Now maybe I can start working on the many craft ideas in my Pintrest account!
