Yesterday the kids and I were in desperate need of a trip outside the house. We were all a little stir crazy. Kart had to go camping with the boyscouts, so I took the kids to a place in Orem called the
Classic Fun Center. It use to be just a roller skating rink, but last year they expanded to include an arcade, bouncy house area and climbing gym. They charge seperately for each of those activities, so I just let the kids pick one thing and they chose climbing. I had a gift certificate my mother-in-law gave me and it had a little left on it after paying for the activity, so we got hot dogs for dinner too. Perfect! That meant I didn't have to have them eat when we got home! The kids had a lot of fun. The slides were super fast, and there were lots of fun things to play on in there.
After an hour they were pretty hot and tired...
...so we got our hot dogs for dinner. The kids love to eat out as much as I do!
Aiden brought a bunch of coins from his piggy bank and he had enough to buy this huge bag of cotton candy. Last time we got cotton candy Emma said it tasted like toilet paper, but she seemed to like it this time. Which I thought was weird because the cotton candy we got last time (at Aiden's school carnival) tasted 20 times more flavorful. Either way, the kids had a blast and I was happy to get out of the house. It was a win!
haha! Emma said cotton candy tasted like toilet paper? lol...
