This morning I was woken up to the perfect breakfast from Kart and the kids. Everything bagels and cream cheese with OJ are my favorite and I never buy them because of that. (I have trouble eating anything but that if I get it!) And the berries and yogurt and chocolate covered strawberries were like the icing on the cake! I loved it all.
Then when I got up, this is what I found on the door to the office! It was so cute and sweet!
It turns out that's where he was hiding a gift card to Amara Salon & Spa that he gave me later! I love that place so much, (it's where I get my hair cut usually) and they have a really great boutique that sells my favorite candles, cute clothes and accessories and stationary. It was honestly hard to decide what to spend the money on.
Of course it wouldn't be a Mother's Day post with out honoring my own mother. She really is one of my favorite people. One of the things I like about getting older is how my relationship with my mom has deepened and gotten better every year. I feel like becoming a mother myself, as well as just becoming more mature in general and gaining life experience helps me to relate even better to her now than I could before. But even with that said, she'll always be my mommy. The one that's there to comfort, guide, and support me in ways only a mom can. She's one of the sweetest and most selfless women I know and I'm so proud she's MY mom.
Then, of course, I love my mother-in-law too! She's always made me feel like a daughter and at home in her home from day one. I don't know what I would've done with out her help all these years. She's always been so happy to help me with the kids whenever we needed her to, open her home to us for dinners or anything else, and has always been so supportive of me and our family. She raised such good kids, and I'm so grateful to have been able to meet and marry her son.
I consider myself lucky to have such wonderful women in my life and am so grateful for them all!
