my sweet and simple life

We got a double stroller!!! This is going to make my life so much easier when taking them both out. I'm so excited about this purchase. I got a great deal on it because I got it on craigslist. (a great place to buy pretty much anything used) It's in great condition. The carseat can fit in the back seat where Emma's sitting if I ever need to have her in the carseat, but she's sitting ok enough to just strap her in with out it.

This is the kids on our first walk with our new stroller. We walked a few blocks to a shopping center that I'd never been to before that I've been wanting to check out. I found an awesome quilt shop that has Amy Butler fabric! (my favorite) It really got me anxious to start a sewing project so I can justify buying some cute fabric.

After shopping we stopped by Sonic (in the same shopping center) because it was happy hour. That means their drinks were 1/2 price. So we got a strawberry limeade to share.
Emma didn't have any, but she was happy just to be there with us. :)

Today we tried rice cereal again. (we tried it once at the beginning of the month and it didn't go well.) She liked it this time! Yea!!!

She took over her spoon and loved playing with it.
I love what a happy girl she is! :)

Today I taught Aiden how to lick a bowl. (very important!) We made Muddy Buddies to bring over to Kart's parents house for the "Lost" season finale party we had with his family. I let him lick the bowl I stirred the chex in.

He really enjoyed it.

Then he helped me shake the bag to mix the chex with the powdered sugar. He thought that was fun too.

Muddie Buddies! Mmmm. You know you want some! They were a hit at the party.

Emma was having a lot of fun with her doll this morning during breakfast. I think her little squeals are so cute! She was crakin' me up.
