switching things up

So it's been a few months now since we've been in our new apartment and I've been working on getting every thing organized and completely unpacked. I have everything unpacked now. I just need to hang curtains in all the bedrooms, get a few more things organized and hang more art and pictures on the walls.

The last time the kids spent the night at Grandma's I finally had some time to get around to organizing and rearranging their room. It was so nice to get it done finally!

I hung up pictures.

Broke out my new favorite toy, the label maker!

Displayed their art.
(Which I love!)
Finally moved their ugly ugly dresser out (and donated it) to make more room for more play space and this book shelf Kart made.
Next time I have a big chunk of time I'd like to paint it green.
I filled their closet with toys and all their clothes.
I made a dress-ups corner and on the opposite side of the room, next to their bookshelf a reading spot. This is their favorite change I made.
I covered some memory foam with a quilt, put some pillows in there (which I hope to make new pillow cases for eventually), and now they have a cozy spot to look at their books. Even Owen likes crawling around in that corner.
Their room isn't completely done yet, but it's so much better than it was before.
And it feels great to have more space for them to play.
