September Love

I have fallen in love with September.  What a wonderful month! The weather is perfect, school has started and the holidays are right around the corner.  It's the best. Sunday afternoon brought such beautiful weather that we decided it called for a drive up the canyon and a picnic dinner. I had fingers crossed that we'd see some fall colors, and we did! Not as much as I'd hoped, but the trees have definitely started changing. 

We decided to stop and eat at one of our favorite spots, south fork park. 

Since the sun was starting to go down it was pretty chilly, but it didn't stop us from having a good time.

One of Owen's favorite words is "eat", and as always he was ready to chow down.

Emma has really started being very motherly to Owen.  Here she is trying to feed him. It's wonderful though. She's really great at making sure he stays out of trouble and loves to play with him. She's always cuddling him. He's not always happy about it, but it's sweet.

Today Aiden said "Mom! Sometimes when I'm resting I stand like this." And stood just like that, except his hand was in his pocket, not holding a cookie.  He's so funny! I love it.
